3mm LED Kit – 5 Colors – 2 Pcs Each

This 3mm LED Kit consists of round shaped 3mm diameter LEDs with the following colours:

• 2 x 3mm Red LEDs
• 2 x 3mm Green LEDs
• 2 x 3mm Blue LEDs
• 2 x 3mm Yellow LEDs
• 2 x 3mm White LEDs

You typically need around 20 mAmps to get the proper lighting of an LED, still, it can operate below 20 mAmp and looks dimmed or few milliAmps above 20 and looks super bright but this will reduce the LED life span.

Most of the LEDs operate in the 2.2v range accordingly you need to attach a current limiting resistance in series with the LED. Usually with 5 volts a resistor of 260 ohms is recommended (will give you around 19 mAmps current), and some people would go higher to extend the LED life span.
